Lake Yellowstone Hotel
The Lake Yellowstone Hotel stands majestically on the shore of Yellowstone Lake. The classic white columns accent the yellow exterior, a vision that stands apart from the surrounding forest and meadows.
Upon arrival, the hotel’s massive white columns welcome you to a time of classic, yet casual elegance. The historic Lake Yellowstone Hotel completed extensive interior renovations in June 2014, restoring it to its Colonial Revival heritage. The hotel was also awarded Green Seal Lodging Certification for sustainable operations and was recently designated a National Historic Landmark in 2015.
Most rooms are accessible via elevator, though there are a few steps to access the first floor of the East wing. All rooms are non-smoking/non-vaping.
Saddle up and see the park from horseback to get a different view by way of the backcountry. There are half-day rides or full-day rides and different tours to choose from. Or set out on a two-legged tour and hike one of the many trails scattered all over the area. Grab a map when entering the park and start exploring.
